Principal Shaw Announces the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian 

In a heartfelt way we celebrate the academic excellence and student achievement, Principal Shaw made this year’s announcement of Dutchtown High School’s Class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian one to remember.

Rather than sharing the news through a typical announcement or email, Principal Shaw took the celebration directly to the students. With pride and excitement, she visited the homes of both the Valedictorian and Salutatorian to personally deliver the news to them and their families.

Surprised and overjoyed, the students were met with cheers, balloons, and warm congratulations as Principal Shaw honored their hard work, dedication, and academic accomplishments. These home visits not only recognized the students' outstanding achievements but also reflected the strong sense of community and personal connection that defines Dutchtown High School.

“This is one of the most meaningful moments of the school year,” said Principal Shaw. “Being able to look these students in the eyes and congratulate them in front of their families is something truly special. They’ve earned this moment, and I’m honored to celebrate it with them.”
