Lola Stanley Earns State Recognition for Student-Owned Business

Dutchtown High School is proud to celebrate sophomore Lola Stanley, a rising young entrepreneur and the owner of Dough Beauty, for her outstanding achievement at the Georgia FLEX State Finals, where she earned 3rd place among top student entrepreneurs across the state.

Lola’s journey to the state stage began right here in Henry County, where she was named the 2026 FLEX Champion through the Henry County Chamber of Commerce’s FLEX (Foundations in Learning, Entrepreneurship, and eXperience) Competition. Competing against talented peers, Lola impressed judges with her innovative business concept, Dough Beauty.

The FLEX Competition is designed to provide students with real-world, hands-on experience in key areas such as marketing, finance, and business development. Participants are challenged to develop and pitch their own business ideas to local industry leaders, gaining valuable feedback and exposure along the way. Lola stood out not only for her creativity, but also for her confidence, preparation, and strong business acumen.

Representing Henry County at the Georgia FLEX State Finals, Lola continued to shine—earning 3rd place statewide, a remarkable accomplishment that highlights her dedication, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Lola’s success is a testament to the opportunities available to students in Henry County Schools and the power of innovation when paired with passion and purpose. Her work with Dough Beauty reflects both creativity and determination, setting the stage for a bright future ahead.

We are incredibly proud of Lola for her achievements and for representing Dutchtown High School and Henry County with excellence.
