As the Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator, I am dedicated to evaluating and delivering comprehensive services that promote health, wellness, and support systems for both students and staff within the school community.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) refers to a wide range of skills, attitudes, and behaviors that can affect an individual's ability to be successful in school and life. These skills are not necessarily measured by written tests; rather, they tend to be measured by the ability to: think critically, manage their emotions, resolve conflicts, decision-making and how to work as a team with peers. Therefore, as Dutchtown High Schools Mental Health & Wellness Facilitator, I teach (SEL) techniques to help staff and students address a plethora of social emotional issues such as anger management, grief and anxiety.
