Enrolling at DHS

Enrollment 
Complete the HCS Online Registration or
visit the HCS Welcome Center located at 
166 Holly Smith Drive McDonough Ga 30253

Registration Checklist 
The following items are needed for enrollment 
  • Proof of Residency (Signed lease, recent property tax statement, signed settlement statement) 
  • Current Utility Bill (30 to 60 days only, Gas or Electric) 
  • Withdrawal form from previous school
  • Report card or Transcript 
  • Student's Birth Certificate
  • Student's Social Security card
  • Parent/guardian Driver's license (proof of guardianship if necessary)
  • Immunization records (Georgia form 3231)
  • Eye, Ear, Dental (Georgia form 3300) 

NOTE: Name on residency document and utility bills must match the name of the person registering. An affidavit from Henry County Board office can replace the residency and utility requirements. 

Parents - Please bring all printed documents with you required for registration.

Withdrawals 

Please see Ms. Trivett in the Counseling Office to withdraw your child. A valid I.D. is required. 

NOTE:The person who enrolled the student in school must be the person who withdraws the student.
