Ms. Pitts is a passionate instructional leader with over 17 years of experience in middle and high school education. Originally from Chicago, she has held teaching and leadership roles in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Fulton County, Georgia, including serving as a classroom teacher, Dean of Students, and Principal Intern.
Ms. Pitts holds degrees in History, Curriculum and Instruction, and School Administration, and is certified in Educational Leadership in both Georgia and North Carolina. Her leadership focuses on improving instructional outcomes, fostering strong collaborative teams, and cultivating inclusive school cultures where all students are supported and empowered to succeed.
Outside of school, Ms. Pitts is a proud mother of three daughters who inspire her to lead with purpose, integrity, and a deep commitment to student success. She is excited and honored to be a part of the Dutchtown community.
