Mrs. Brooke Scantlebury, Ed. S Assistant Principal

Mrs. Brooke A. Scantlebury proudly serves as an Assistant Principal at DHS. A proud Dutchtown High School graduate, Class of 2014, she is honored to return to the school that helped shape her into the educator and leader she is today. She is passionate about creating a culture where every student is encouraged to dream big, pursue excellence, and reach their fullest potential.
Mrs. Scantlebury earned her Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) in Teacher Leadership, Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, and Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from Valdosta State University. She also holds an Educational Leadership Tier I Certification and endorsements in Reading and Gifted Education.
Before becoming an Assistant Principal, Mrs. Scantlebury served as a middle and high school Social Studies teacher and an Instructional Coach. She is dedicated to supporting students and teachers through instructional leadership, meaningful relationships, and a shared commitment to excellence. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their beloved dog. As she often says, "It's always a great day to be a Bulldog!"
