Dr. Burden proudly serves as the 10th Grade Assistant Principal at Dutchtown High School, supporting students and staff in CTAE, Fine Arts, and P.E. With over 10 years of service in Henry County Schools, she is passionate about fostering student success through strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Burden earned her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 2007. Throughout her career, she has served students in both Cobb and Henry County Schools, teaching middle grades Social Studies, Science, and CTAE. In addition to her classroom experience, she has supported high school teachers, district leaders, and school staff through instructional technology integration and professional learning initiatives.

Dr. Burden holds a Master of Education in Special Education, an Educational Specialist degree in Technology in the Classroom, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education Law and Policy. She is committed to providing equitable educational opportunities for all students and looks forward to building meaningful partnerships with students, families, staff, and the Dutchtown community.
